MARCOS EGIPCIACO

CEO

Marcos Egipciaco is the founder and CEO of My Community Homes. He leads the growth, strategic direction, and overall performance of the company, which is committed to having a positive influence in its local communities while providing modern family homes and an enhanced living experience for families.  Having been in real estate for more than 20 years, Marcos has had a key role in the growth of the Single-Family Rental (SFR) home industry and has helped build property portfolios for the largest institutions in the world.  He previously founded and serves as CEO of Sovereign Real Estate Group. Here he and his team created the largest residential real estate acquisition platform in the nation, managing more than 30,000 transactions for a total of $9 billion in real estate assets across the country.  He now brings his considerable real estate experience to leading My Community Homes. He’s also an investor and advisor for real estate property technology companies. A native of South Florida, he lives in Miami with his wife and two children. 

AMANDA ROSEN

CHIEF INVESTMENT OFFICER

Amanda Rosen joined My Community Homes as the Chief Investment Officer, focusing on acquisitions and investments. Before joining the company, she worked at FirstKey Homes, a Cerberus Capital Management portfolio company, for more than five years, most recently as the Senior Vice President of Acquisitions and Dispositions. She previously worked at J.P. Morgan in the consumer and retail investment banking group. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and is based in New York.

MANJULA (JULES) PERERA

EVP, TECHNOLOGY

Manjula (Jules) Perera brings over 20 years of experience and is responsible for technology strategy at MCH, driving enterprise architecture and engineering. Nationally recognized as a thought leader in real estate technology, Jules routinely speaks on large-scale data-driven asset management. He launched an integrated digital platform for Progress Residential, growing the single-family rental business from 10,000 to over 85,000 homes. At Walton Global, he expanded product engineering and infrastructure enabling the business to manage over 90,000 acres of land investments. Jules leads the National Rental Home Council (NRHC) Executive Technology Committee and holds a degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia.

KEITH LAVERY

SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT OF FINANCE AND ACCOUNTING

As Vice President of Finance, Keith Lavery is responsible for accounting, finance, treasury and human resources. A seasoned professional with more than 20 years of experience, he employs strategic financial strategies for company growth. He has extensive experience and career strengths in real estate operations, accounting, finance and process improvement. He has also worked with investors and the SEC on investor reporting, regulations and governance.  A Florida Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a member of the Florida Institute of CFOs (FICFO), Keith holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Florida and a master’s in accounting from Florida International University.

 

 

MICHAEL STAPLES

SVP OF STRATEGY & CAPITAL MARKETS

As the Senior Vice President of Strategy & Capital Markets, Michael Staples leads the strategic direction of the company’s growth initiatives and is the key driver of its capital markets strategy. Before joining MCH, he worked in KKR & Co.’s real estate private equity group, where he worked on corporate and asset-level transactions across real estate sectors. Prior to KKR, he worked at Barclays Bank in the real estate investment banking group. Michael holds a bachelor’s degree in applied economics and management from Cornell University and is based in Miami.

RICHARD GASTON

REGIONAL VICE PRESIDENT OF INITIAL REHABS

Richard Gaston lends his experience in construction and real estate to My Community Homes as the Regional Vice President of Initial Rehabs for the South, Midwest and West Coast. Prior to joining the company, Richard held leadership positions at Invitation Homes and Colony Starwood Homes. He also studied at Southern Illinois University and was a licensed real estate agent in Illinois for 15 years. Richard is based in Phoenix, Arizona.

THOMAS CORLEY

REGIONAL VICE PRESIDENT OF INITIAL REHABS

Thomas Corley serves as Regional Vice President of Initial Rehabs. During more than 15 years in real estate and construction, he has been instrumental in building and scaling strategies for rehab and maintenance at several key businesses in the SFR Industry. Prior to joining My Community Homes, he held the position of Regional Senior Construction and Operations Manager at FirstKey Homes. He also held regional leadership positions at Opendoor, Progress Residential, and American Homes 4 Rent. Thomas lives with his family in Fort Worth, Texas.
