Marcos Egipciaco is the founder and CEO of My Community Homes. He leads the growth, strategic direction, and overall performance of the company and oversees its operations. Marcos has had a key role in the growth of the Single-Family Rental (SFR) home industry helping some of the largest institutions build their SFR portfolios. As the founder of Sovereign Real Estate Group, he and his team acquired, managed, and sold more than $6 billion in real estate property across the country. He also grew the company’s operations and influence from a local brokerage firm to a national company. A native of South Florida, Marcos lives in Miami with his wife and 2 children.
Amanda Rosen joined My Community Homes as the Chief Investment Officer, focusing on acquisitions and investments. Before joining the company, she worked at FirstKey Homes, a Cerberus Capital Management portfolio company, for more than five years, most recently as the Senior Vice President of Acquisitions and Dispositions. She previously worked at J.P. Morgan in the consumer and retail investment banking group. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and is based in New York.
Claudel Pressa leads the company’s operations and oversees its ongoing efforts in acquisitions, portfolio management and rehab. Known for his skill in driving growth and performance, he has more than 15 years of experience in all asset classes of real estate, including residential, commercial, multifamily and mixed-use. In his most recent role as COO of The Carroll Companies, he led operations, overseeing more than $4 billion in assets. Claudel holds a Juris Doctor, a master’s degree in real estate and urban analysis, and a bachelor’s degree in finance, all from the University of Florida. He lives with his family in South Florida.
Keith Lavery is the Senior Vice President of Finance and Accounting of My Community Homes. A seasoned professional with more than 20 years of experience, Keith has held leadership roles with national home builders, developers, and REITs such as Equity One, Levitt Homes, and Ernst and Young (real estate group). He most recently served as CFO of two Florida-based developers: BTI Partners and Ocean Land Investments. A Florida Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a member of the Florida Institute of CFOs (FICFO), Keith holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Florida and a master’s in accounting from Florida International University. He lives with his family in South Florida.
Jorge Lago is Head of Asset Management at My Community Homes. With more than 15 years of experience in the real estate industry, he most recently served as Vice President of Real Estate Asset Management for Wells Fargo. There, he oversaw all asset management services in the Pacific Northwest, which included 7 markets, and managed real estate investments for high-net worth and institutional clients. He’s managed over $4 billion in assets under management and developed a wide range of expertise in business operations and real estate. Jorge has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from St. Thomas University and a master’s in business administration from the University of Miami. He lives with his wife and daughter in Miami.
Sean Schnaiter brings his considerable experience in construction management to his position as Vice President of Turns and R&M. Sean joined the company after working for some of the largest real estate and construction firms in the country, including FirstKey Homes, American Homes 4 Rent, and Ryland Homes (now Lennar Homes). He has a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and holds a Certified Graduate Builder (CGB) designation from the National Association of Home Builders. Sean lives in Indiana with his wife and four children.
Richard Gaston lends his experience in construction and real estate to My Community Homes as the Regional Vice President of Initial Rehabs for the South, Midwest and West Coast. Prior to joining the company, Richard held leadership positions at Invitation Homes and Colony Starwood Homes. He also studied at Southern Illinois University and was a licensed real estate agent in Illinois for 15 years. Richard is based in Phoenix, Arizona.
Thomas Corley serves as Regional Vice President of Initial Rehabs. During more than 15 years in real estate and construction, he has been instrumental in building and scaling strategies for rehab and maintenance at several key businesses in the SFR Industry. Prior to joining My Community Homes, he held the position of Regional Senior Construction and Operations Manager at FirstKey Homes. He also held regional leadership positions at Opendoor, Progress Residential, and American Homes 4 Rent. Thomas lives with his family in Fort Worth, Texas.
